I Was born in Danbury, CT and I spent most of my formative years in New Haven, CT surrounded by music.  The city was alive and all artistic disciplines were flourishing.   New York "cats" would come up to jam bringing promising musicians down to the city.   Local musicians were the toast of the town and all genres of music were doing well; R&B, Rock, and Jazz lead the way for folks looking have a great time.  The performance venues provided a great learning environment for all musicians.   Competitive and deep were the performers, but they inspired knowledge as well as presence.

I attended the Educational Center for the Arts, the Title XX Program (a copy of the Soho Artistic Center) and performed in a number of bands, which helped to develop my sound. The compositions are born out of this wonderful period of musical development & association. As I look forward in my musical development I remember the music that I listened to as a child and try and develop full and interesting compositions. I was lucky to have associated with people who had performed with some of the best in the business.
